DEDICATION

"And at night you will look up at the stars.
Where I live everything is so small that I cannot

show you where my star is found. It is better
like that. My star will just be one of the stars for
you. And so you will love to watch all the stars

in the heavens. They will all be your friends/'

My message to you:

It is already tomorrow. Time, which

never stops on its journey, will pass

before your eyes, and you will leave

Methuen High School and become

members of a larger community. As you

look back on the years you spent at

Methuen High, I hope the photos and

memories in this book will be your

stepping stones to a happy

reminiscence. I wish you pleasant

memories and a future that will be filled

with much happiness and

success.

Sincerely,

Ms. Ellen Parker

It's so hard to say goodbye to

yesterday...

Remember days of skipping

school

Racing cars and being cool
Remember at the prom the

night

You and me we had a fight

But the band there played

our favorite song

And I held you in my arms

so strong

-John Bonjovi

Live and learn
Well the years they flew
And we never knew
We were foolish then
We would never tire
And that little fire
Is still alive in me
It will never go away
Can't say goodbye to yester-
day
-Madonna

And I'll take with me the

memories

To be my sunshine after the

rain...

-Boys 2 Men

Goodbye, there's just no

sadder word to say
And it's sad to walk away

With just the memories
Who's to know what might

have been

We leave behind a life and

time

We'll never know again

-Diane Warren

And so we talked all night about

the rest of our lives
Where we're gonna be when we

turn twenty-five

I keep thinking times will never

change

Keep on thinking things will

always be the same

But when we leave this year we

won't be coming back

No more hanging out 'cause we're

on a different track

And if you got something that

you need to say

You better say it right now cause

you don't have another day
'Cause we're moving on and we

can't slow down

These memories are playing like a

film without a sound...

We'd get so excited, we'd get so

scared
Laughing at ourselves thinking

life's not fair...

Will we think about tomorrow

like we think about now?

Can we survive it out there? Can

we make it somehow?

I guess I thought that this would

never end

And suddenly it's like we're

women and men

Will the past be a shadow that will

follow us round?
Will these memories fade when I

leave this town

I keep thinking it's not goodbye

Keep on thinking it's a time to fly

-Vitamin C

I can see your face

In our secret place

You're not just a

memory

-Madonna

How do I say goodbye to what

we had

The good times that made us

laugh

Outweighed the bad

I thought we'd get to see

forever

But forever's gone away

It's so hard to say goodbye to

yesterday.

I don't know where this road

Is going to lead

All I know is where we've

been

And what we've been through

-Boys 2 Men

Time, sometimes the time

just slips away

And you're left with

yesterday

Left with the memories...

Though we go our

separate ways

I won't forget so don't

forget

The memories we made

-Diane Warren

You can always count on

me whereever I may be

When this world's got

you feelin' blue

Call on me and I'll run to

you

My friend

-Blessed Union of Souls

Time has gone by so quickly, faster than I

ever expected. But in this seemingly short

time, you have grown into everything and

more than I ever dreamed of. The word

proud does not even come close to how

you've made me feel about you. I know I

must let you go and grow even more. Always

be happy, successful, and love your family.

Love Always,

the very best it has to offer. You still continue to fill our

lives with so much joy and happiness. Remember to

Dear Ashley,

We can hardly believe it is

possible that you are at this

point in your life. The time has

gone so quickly. It seems like

just yesterday, your favorite

form of transportation was

Tim's shoulders, then we

blinked and you were all grown

up and sitting behind the wheel

of our car driving yourself.

Always remember how much

we love you, how proud we are

of you, and that we are always

here for you! You have so much

to offer and on your journey...
